Artist Alley, or any artist exhibition, is my favorite part of almost any convention. While it is always enjoyable walking the showroom or attending events, Artist Alley is always the highlight. New York Comic Con is a monster. I cannot think of a better word to describe this four day event. It has grown so much that for Friday and Saturday they rented out the theater at Madison Square Garden for ‘premiere’ panels, along with having events at two other locations. Because of the new fan verification policy for buying tickets I was able to procure Saturday and Sunday tickets. During these two days I hardly scratched the surface of what Comic Con offered. Nerd Block released another con exclusive box for this years New York Comic Con. I have never been one for subscription box services, but after researching some of their previous con exclusive boxes decided to give it a try. A complaint found with some of the previous exclusive boxes for C2E2 and Emerald City Comic Con were they were delivered after the cons, though they were advertised to be delivered before. The NYCC box came decently in advance, almost too early but this better guarantees all boxes are delivered on time. There are seven exclusive items, while the other three can…

In the past week there have been many news stories about how Matt Smith regrets leaving Doctor Who. He played the Eleventh Doctor from 2010-2014 and was replaced by Peter Capaldi in “The Time of the Doctor.” Steven Moffat, the current show runner, commented he would love to have Matt back in the show.
